What is a Community Postcard?

The Community Postcard is a beautiful 9x12 glossy postcard that is distributed to at least 5,000 (and often 10,000) local homes. Each side of the card features local businesses covering a number of different niches (restaurant, electrician, HVAC, pest control, etc) that would be relevant to the local community.  Each business is unique to the card as much as possible (there are not two pest control or or two HVAC businesses on the same card) to provide exclusivity to the participating businesses.  The Community Postcard is large, yet still fits without being folded when placed in the mailbox, and guarantees that the businesses on the card are seen by the recipients.

How is a Community Postcard beneficial for local businesses?

The goal of the Community Postcard card is to get local businesses visible and in front of the local community in an eye catching and affordable way.  It is often said that one of the most important aspects of marketing is always having your business name in front of customers.  By combining resources, the Community Postcard offers local businesses of all sizes the opportunity to receive guaranteed exposure to a large number of homes in the community at a price and style not possible on their own.

The Community Postcard is able to cover an entire area of the city at once. With up to 10,000 homes receiving the card each distribution, it provides your business direct exposure to the local community.

Cost Effective

We know that printing and mailing can be expensive! By combining resources with other local businesses we can all share in the costs to ensure any business, no matter the size, has the opportunity to be seen by the community.

Jesse Griffiths is a local business owner and the Founder of the Think Local Agency. He started the Think Local Agency after observing that many local businesses owners are required to focus so much time and energy on running their business that they often do not have the budget, knowledge, or simply the time to manage and run effective local marketing campaigns on their own. Jesse utilizes his knowledge in local marketing to help bridge this gap between local businesses and their community.
